December 2012 Student of the Month: Haley Zweber


Rosemount High School senior Haley Zweber is the Rotary Club of Rosemount December 2012 Student of the Month.

Haley is the daughter of John and Zabrina Zweber and big sister to Madison, Zach and Nicholas. She is a National Honor Society student who is maintaining a 3.9 GPA while completing a number of honors, AP and CIS classes – in fact, her favorite classes include AP Chemistry, AP Biology, Anatomy and Physiology.

In addition to being an academic all-star, Haley is also a member of the Spanish National Honor Society, volleyball team, and was an “Outstanding Participant” for the College Board’s National Achievement Scholarship program.

Outside of the classroom, Haley has served for four years as a Homework Helper at the Rosemount Family Resource Center, a speech and math volunteer at Shannon Park Elementary, is involved with Youth Teaching Youth (a 4-H Drug Prevention program) and volunteers at volleyball youth camps.

After graduation from Rosemount High School, Haley has been accepted to Gustavus Adophus College where she intends to study pre-med.
