March 2013 Member Spotlight: John Wollersheim

While his credentials might lead you to assume that Rosemount Rotarian John Wollersheim bleeds purple and gold, a quick peek at his veins would lead you to discover that his blood courses maroon and gold.

Perhaps one of the biggest Gophers fans you’ll find, John’s general enthusiasm for education in Minnesota has made him an essential component in building Rosemount Rotary’s STRIVE program with Rosemount High School. John’s intention in joining Rotary was to find ways to connect Rosemount High School to the community, and the STRIVE program provided a means to make that happen. That said it is no surprise that John’s favorite Rotary memory is awarding the first STRIVE scholarship.

Outside of work and Rotary, John is a husband and father to four children. He is also part of the Rosemount Community Leaders group, the Rosemount Yellow Ribbon Committee and is busy working on his dissertation to complete his doctorate from Bethel University.
