July 2013 Member Spotlight: Stacey Bartelson

Notorious for her strong networking abilities and desire to make things happen (she got her bachelor’s degree in just three years), Stacey Bartelson has been critical to nearly every success Rosemount Rotary has experienced, serving as a charter member, past president, membership chair, and member of the fundraising committee.

Stacey got involved with Rotary because she felt the organization’s motto of “service above self” aligned well with her values and desire to make a difference in the Rosemount community and around the world. As a result, it isn’t a surprise that she is signed up to be a STRIVE mentor and notes that Feed My Starving Children and Rosemount Family Resource Center are two of her favorite service projects.

The best part about Rotary for Stacey, though, is very much in keeping with her personality. She says her best Rotary memories surround getting to know the amazing members of the club and, in turn, developing meaningful friendships.

In addition to Rotary, Stacey is a part of the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce, Business Council, BNI and the Women in Financial Services Industry. She is also wife to Dale and mom to Dawson – her brand new baby boy – and her four-legged daughter, a Boston terrier named Gracie May. Stacey will try to tell you she is boring, but her ability to make everyone feel warm and welcome as she shares experiences about growing up in Iowa and the tales of interesting people and places she has encountered will quickly suggest otherwise.
